When it comes to inventions people look forward to in the future, quite a few things come to mind. Lightsabers, flying cars, and hoverboards usually top the list, because we”ve seen them all so many times in movies. Now, scientists have created a futuristic invention that will fly under the radar for most people.

This is Spot. Spot is a dog that was robotically engineered to change direction, go up stairs, alter its step patterns on inclines, and generally be a good dog. It”s the pet I always dreamed about as a kid.
